Get-together party!
18.05.2009 Managing Director of NSC in Hamburg, Mr. Heiko Meyer and Head of Crewing Department, Ms Carmen Song arrived in Odessa for a general meeting with Manning Agent “Ukrferry Shipmanagement” and as well the invitation of all NSC Officers and cadets for a nice dinner in order to express thanks and good relationship.
All NSC Officers who were on leave had been invited accordingly to the Restaurant “Khutorok u Morya” at 19:00 pm to the first NSC Officer’s dinner. Joining the 35 guests attended where Mr. Heiko Meyer, Managing Director of NSC, Ms. Carmen Song, Head of Crewing Department of NSC; Mr. Alexander Fomin, Fleet Technical Superintendent of “Ukrferry Shipmanagement”, Mrs. Elena Myagkova, Crew Manager of “Ukrferry Shipmanagement”; and 29 Officers and 2 Cadets.
Mr. Meyer and Ms. Song explained that the current financial crisis situation effects all of us worldwide and due to the fact that ships are sold and new building projects are delayed more and more difficulties arise, however Ms. Song and her Team promised best efforts to arrange an acceptable joining/relieving schedule and good incentives for each Officer in order to minimize the damage. In the speech Mr. Meyer reassured everybody that NSC’s priority and concern are their officers and pointed out the importance of keeping good Officers!
Mr. Meyer and Ms. Carmen Song are sure that the visit to Odessa was necessary and very fruitful. First of all to meet and talk to Manning Agent “Ukrferry Shipmanagement” and secondly to meet Officers personally during the dinner which was very much appreciated by all joining parties. The personal relationship and motivation is strengthened! It was decided to arrange such an important and nice event yearly!
